The genuine Israel of God is …

1. The genuine Israel of God is composed of all regenerated, born again Jewish people that believe Jesus is the Messiah.

2. The genuine Israel of God is composed of all regenerated, born again Gentiles that believe Jesus is the Messiah. These were grafted into the good olive tree, they did not replace the good olive tree. (Romans 11:17, 24)

The genuiine Israel of God is not …

1. The genuine Israel of God is not the modern day Israeli army, the IDF.

2. The genuine Israel of God is not the modern State of Israel.

3. The genuine Israel of God does not include Jewish people who reject Jesus as the Messiah.

Galatians 3:27-29 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Galatians 6:14-16 But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.

A thought for Christians to ponder …

1. Many born again believers (those who have been deceived by the error of dispensational theology) blindly support the State of Israel and it’s military.

2. “Breaking The Silence” is an organization founded by former Israeli soldiers. They speak publicly about the abuses they have seen, and been a part of, while serving in the IDF, Israel’s military. The troubled consciences of the soldiers led them to start this organization. See links …

Misunderstanding the biblical definition of God’s true Israel will have dire consequences.  God never has, nor ever will, put His blessing upon injustice.

    Hello to all,

We appreciated your article and the other’s comments. We sometimes feel as if we’re the only ones who see this. It is encouraging to find others that believe the same things. We wrote on this issue on our website, and we found yours by seeing if we could find our website on Google!

I’m going to read the rest of your site now.

    God bless you all.

I agree with everything you said..

For a long time now, i’ve been trying to show Christians that to be participating in ANY WAY with trying to build another Temple in which sacrifices are planned on being offered again, is an abomination. Its like talking to a wall.

I’ll never give up pointing it out…but it sure gets tire-some.

Many Christians today have built their entire ‘last day’ doctrinal beliefs around this coming about.

Thanks for giving your thoughts my friend..

  4. Cathy says:

I believe many born again Christians have been seduced into serious deception regarding the building of the third temple. To rebuild the temple is to revert back to old testament “types” and “shadows”. The focus is being taken off the preaching of the gospel, and the fact that the Messiah has already come. I would say that this teaching is “antichristian” in nature. Unfortunately, it is so mainstream that it is almost impossible to convince anyone that this is an apostate teaching with serious consequences. I know believers who financially support Jewish organizations and who think would be permissible for a Christian, and even a good thing, to fight alongside secular Israel’s military. I don’t understand why so many are following. It may be because it is so very hard to go against the grain. It has been for me.

  5. pjmiller says:

    Simple isn’t it?

I don’t know why Christians continue to confuse the true Israel of God, (all those in Christ) spoken of in Paul’s inspired writings, with the land itself.

John Hagee’s Christians United For Israel, and many born again believers, blindly support the State of Israel and it’s military..

Off topic, but i would like to ask you what you think about Christians today, supporting groups (with finances, etc etc) which are trying to re-build a third Temple?

I ask because i know John Hagee and many other evangelical leaders DO encourage this and support this movement financially.

    The whole thing seems bizarre.
