JUST WAR THEORY?

Many, probably most, evangelical protestant churches have adopted the “Just War Theory.” But what is the source of this teaching? Is it Jesus Christ, or is it man made? You’ll find the answer in the following short paragraph …

“Thomas Aquinas later developed the concept of Just War by adopting Augustine’s writings. Thomas Aquinas, (1225 – 1274) was an Italian Catholic priest in the Dominican Order, a philosopher and theologian in the scholastic tradition …” Wikipedia

    Yes …

“Why do we pray for God to help us KILL people?”

The church/state alliance is truly wicked, and it is apostasy. It has permeated the modern day “church”.

    Have a blessed day Oxy,

Always wondered about this. The conscience did not want to submit to it.

Last week in my SS class a young woman asked us to pray for patients. The hospital she works with suddenly had a slow month and she now is praying for God to bring the sick to her.

This made me wonder what will happen when those with illnesses come to her and she finds out they have no insurance, or cannot afford to pay for their medications or tests or such… what will she then do, since the hospital has a ruling: no one is to allowed to pray with those who come in, nor are they able to speak of ‘religious ideologies’. How will she lead them who have no other direction. They give perscriptions which will never be filled. They give referrals which will not be followed through.

This takes me to the topic at hand. Why do we pray for God to help us KILL people?

I am a person who is sick in their stomach at the prayer requests of ignorance. God tells us that we do not even know what we pray or ask, and this is why it is so important to lean on the Holy Ghost that we might be able to pray with the mindset of God. We aren’t even to go into battle unless God goes before us.
