Christian Zionism. Is it possible to talk about this subject too much? I don’t think so when we consider that the teachings of organizations like Christians United For Israel “C.U.F.I.,” affect the theology of millions on a daily basis. These teachings that have permeated the modern day church, were brought into the mainstream by men like John Nelson Darby (1800-1882), and Cyrus I. Scofield (1843-1921). The Scofield Study Bible, with it’s unbiblical notes, has led many a Christian astray.
A simple reading of a few Scriptures in Galatians chapter 3, and in the book of Genesis, will bring us back to the truth of Scripture, the truth of God’s Word. The Scriptures have been terribly twisted to mean something that they do not say. Believers are rejecting truth and believing lies. As a result, the live and souls of many believers and unbelievers are in peril. The Scriptures below are certainly not the only Scriptures that refute Christian Zionism and Dispensationalism, but these few Scriptures can certainly free anyone, whose heart is open, from this very serious error. When we realize that these false teachings have led to the suggestion of a pre-emptive attack on the country of Iran, hopefully we will realize how deadly Dispensational Theology really is.
We are being told that Scriptures which point to and have there fulfillment in Jesus Christ, really point to secular, political, unregenerate Israel. Does it get any worse than that?
