What’s the difference?

Heaven or hell is the difference.

Roman Catholics are taught that the “communion bread” is actually transformed into the literal body and blood of Jesus Christ under the “appearance” of bread and wine.  When they take the communion bread (as I did for almost 40 years), and it goes into their stomach, they believe that Jesus Christ is in them.

Contrast the true believer who has Christ within, by the indwelling of  the Spirit of Christ, the Holy Spirit, who is the hope of glory, and you end up with two very different teachings.

[Colossians 1:27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:]

Add to that the fact that Roman Catholics are taught the untruth that water baptism is the new birth and you have “another gospel”.

So many born again believers do not witness to Roman Catholics because they have believed the lies of false teachers who tell them that Roman Catholic teaching has changed, or they believe a Catholic who proclaims that they “love Jesus.”  Born again believers who withhold truth from Roman Catholics are not walking in love.  I see and have seen very little mercy for these lost souls among professing Christians.  In today’s “Christian” world, following the crowd rather than following Jesus will certainly hinder evangelism and may put our very own souls in danger.  Do we have blood on our hands?   May the Lord have mercy on us all.
