THEY DIED LOST …

Though they had the opportunity to be saved they died lost.  They neglected the salvation offered to them and died in their sins.  Who?  Multitudes throughout the ages, since the beginning of time.  They went to hell …  a place where there is weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth.  They will be there forever.  They didn’t have to go there but they did.  They could have had God’s love and heaven’s bliss but they chose God’s wrath instead.

Few want the Lord.

Few think they need the Lord.

Few fear the Lord.

Few find the Lord.

It doesn’t have to be this way but it is.

Sodom had less than 10 who followed the Lord when it was destroyed.

Noah entered the ark of safety with only 7 others before the flood.

Jesus said it would be as the days of Noah and Lot when He returns.

Few.

When the Savior walked the earth his own received Him not.  Surely some did but many did not.  They died lost.  They died in their sins.

Jesus lamented over the hardness of heart in Jersusalem.

Our life on this earth is fleeting.  One day we are here, the next day we could be gone.  Then it will be too late.  Too late.  All the prayers that people say for the dead,  all the prayers in the world can’t help the dead if they died lost.  If they died in their sins they will be in hell forever.  Jesus said so.  Unfaithful ministers will tell you otherwise but they are lying.

If you are reading this and you are not born again, if you are not saved, you can be.

Salvation is offered to all, without exception, who repent and believe the Gospel.

Do it today, do it now, for we are given many promises in the bible, but we are not promised another tomorrow.

Hebrews 2:3
How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
(KJV)
Luke 12:19-20 And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?

Proverbs 9:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.

Hebrews 2:3  How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;

Matthew 7:13-14  Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Romans 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
*
Luke 17:26-33 And as it was in the days of Noe (Noah), so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back. Remember Lot’s wife. Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.

Luke 13:34-35 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not! Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
*
Matthew 11:28-30 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
*
Luke 13:3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
*
Luke 13:28 There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.
*
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
*
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
*
John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
*
John 3:3-7 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

WHAT IF?

I sometimes wonder how different things would be if we Christians lived in a different period of time.

I wonder how different things would be if  believers were not so influenced by the false teachings of the modern day church and the unbiblical practices of fellow believers.

Do we do things because “everybody else does them?”

Do we believe things because “everyone else is currently believing them?”

Are we really following Jesus or are we following man?

For example, in contrast to popular teaching and practice, what if …

–  All Christians rejected “Christian Zionism” as a heretical teaching

–  All Christians practiced separation of church and state

–  All Christians were pacifists

–  All Christians knew that the Roman Catholic Church preaches “another gospel”

–  All Christians did not celebrate CHRISTMAS

I know it is very unpopular to speak about the above, but is the modern day church to be our standard?

Or should our standard be … “this I know for the Bible tells me so.”

WAR & THE BORN AGAIN CHRISTIAN

Pastors are teaching their young people that it is acceptable to be in the military and to kill.   This is grave error.

PROPHECY, PROMISES & BLESSINGS

A simple reading of the Bible will dispel many of the falsehoods of dispensational teaching and expose the grave error of Christian Zionism.  For example …

Acts 3:22 For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.

Acts 3:23 And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.

Acts 3:24 Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days.

Acts 3:25 Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.

Acts 3:26 Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.
