Pope Francis Quiet on Catholic Persecution of Protestants in Mexico

Not one mention of this during Pope Francis’ visit to Chiapas, Mexico …

“The day before Francis’ visit, one evangelical church was broken into and burned down.”

Revealing article at Christianity Today

Excerpts…

“Francis, who restarted the ordinations in 2014, took a strong stand for the indigenous Catholics this week.”

“He didn’t address the persecution that indigenous Catholics have leveled against Protestants in Chiapas.”

“In what Christian Solidarity Worldwide (CSW) calls “a marginalized community within a larger marginalized community,” Chiapas Protestants have been banished from their homes and land. Sometimes after having their utilities cut off. Sometimes after threats of lynching. The day before Francis’s visit, one evangelical church was broken into and burned down.”

LEARN THE TRUTH ABOUT ROMAN CATHOLICISM

The church is  being told by many in leadership positions that the Roman Catholics are our brethren in Christ.  As a former Roman Catholic I know that Catholics need to be evangelized.  Love a Roman Catholic by sharing the true Gospel with them.  Only the true Gospel saves.

THE TEACHINGS OF JESUS CHRIST

Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

John Gill Commentary:

whatsoever I have commanded you;

every thing that Christ has commanded, be it what it will, and nothing else;

for Christ’s ministers are not to teach for doctrines the commandments of men;

or enjoin that on the churches, which is of their own, or other men’s devising, and was never ordered by Christ;

John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

SIGNS OF THE TIMES – Woe Be Unto The Pastors

Beware of false prophets and grievous wolves.

Take heed that no man deceive you.

Jeremiah 23:1  Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD.

Ezekiel 13:22  Because with lies ye have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by promising him life:

Matthew 24:4  And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

Acts 20:25-38  25And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more. 26Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men. 27For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God. 28Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. 29For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. 30Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them. 31Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears. 32And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified. 33I have coveted no man’s silver, or gold, or apparel. 34Yea, ye yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me. 35I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

36And when he had thus spoken, he kneeled down, and prayed with them all. 37And they all wept sore, and fell on Paul’s neck, and kissed him, 38Sorrowing most of all for the words which he spake, that they should see his face no more. And they accompanied him unto the ship.
