China bans copying of hymns, punishes Christians who print religious materials

Can we even imagine what it would be like if online retailers here in the U.S. were banned from selling us Bibles? The persecuted church needs our prayers, the church in China and in countries around the world.

  1. Coincidentally, today, on the first day of another stringent lockdown here in Ireland, I happened to find an old hymn book with such encouraging, wonderful hymns – rarely sung these days. When I googled some of these hymns to research them, I found Chinese people singing them with joy – perhaps they’re not in China now. My heart goes out to Christians in that country.

    • My heart goes out to them also. I can’t imagine living under those circumstances. The Lord sees the suffering of His children. It’s interesting that you should find that book of hymns and the video when you did isn’t it.

I question the minimizing of safety measures here in the U.S regarding the pandemic which may be putting many at higher risk for infection. I’m glad they’re taking the proper precautions where you are.
