Thanks, Cathy! I was blessed by listening to this excellent video this morning. There are the Jehovah’s Witnesses and even so-called “evangelicals” who attack the doctrine of the Trinity and the deity of Jesus Christ.
Yes Tom, even evangelicals come against this wonderful doctrine! Sound doctrine that is not endured. We appreciate as always that you were blessed by the video. We pray over these videos, that they would be a blessing to believers and also that they would minister to the lost. Like Jesus said… “without me you can do nothing”. 🙌 Have a blessed Lord’s Day, both you and your wife!
Just listened to this in these wee quiet hours! Touching! So very touching!
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for the ministry you have given Billy snd Cathy through Jesus! May anyone that needs Your truth be led to the truth Billy has shared here through Your Written Word-The Holy Bible and through Your Living Word-Jesus ❤️
Jesus came to save not condemn! AMEN! Jesus came to fulfill Your prophecy-AMEN! Jesus was sent to glorify You! Jesus IS the slain Lamb worthy to open the 7 seals!!!
Thank You, Heavenly Father m, for you mercy that we have done nothing to deserve! Thank you, Heavenly Father for loving us first!
In Jesus MIGHTY NAME-THE NAME ABOVE ALL NAMES!! Amen and Amen!!! 🙌🙏🏻❤️
Thank you Beth for this beautiful prayer that glorifies the Lord. And I thank the Lord also for your ministry here on WordPress. The Lord has blessed us here and others through it. Blessings to you and yours sis.
16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
Amen!!!
I have a question-I was waiting to see if Billy mentioned this scripture:
Luke 18:18-19
18 And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
19 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God.
When Jesus asks “Why callers thou me good?”-how does this fit in with the Trinity? I think I understand but wanted to see what you or Billy could help me clarify this…
Thank you ❤️
The Lord had a way of speaking to people, and asking questions, to draw out what was really in their hearts.
Here’s a commentary on that verse.
Pulpit Commentary:
And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God. The title “good” was a singular one for the young ruler to have used. It was never used to the most famous rabbis by their pupils. It implied an intense reverence, but nothing more. The young man distinctly did not then believe the Master was Divine, else he had never made the great refusal recorded directly afterwards.
“To be a good man is impossible… God alone could have this honour”
“You are looking at me,” said the Master, “as a man: why give me this strange, lofty title? You are looking on me only as an earthly Teacher.”
The great Heart-reader was reading the young man’s thoughts, thoughts which soon crystallized, as we shall see, into the refusal to do what he, whom he chose to style “good,” directed him to carry out.
Beth. It was commonly taught among the Jews that there was no one who was good, but God. Jesus was challenging the rich young ruler… Basically, He was saying, “Are you acknowledging Me as God?”
Thank you! My smell/taste comes and go but that’s ok! I’m learning to adjust to it and believe at some point it will return as God wills it to return!!

It would be an interesting Bible study to look up all the questions the Lord asked and why.
