PEACEMAKERS 
Watched this… and thought how amazing that the Lord was in it all. I was reminded of my father’s testimony and how, not long after he was saved, he and two others had won prizes for “sheep judging”. On the evening he was to receive the prize he had told the Lord that if an opportunity arose – he would give his testimony at this young farmer’s event. The 3 prize winners were invited to speak from the platform but the other two didn’t want to – and my father saw his opportunity, even though (like me) he was a bit nervous about public speaking! He proceeded to thank the committee for the prize – and then told everyone how he had got saved! He said “you could have heard a pin drop.” Afterwards the chairman thanked him and said… “it would be well for everyone if they would do as Mr. Hutchinson has done.” (I feel that the chairman may have been a Christian.) Thanks for this video… which brought back this lovely memory.

That is a wonderful testimony regarding your father Elizabeth, and required quite a bit of boldness. I think that it would be easier to share the Gospel at a funeral because everyone is expecting something “religious” to be said. But testifying when accepting a prize for sheep judging would require an extra dose of courage from the Lord! I’m glad you enjoyed the video and that it brought back such a beautiful memory. The Lord will do amazing things if we will just step out in faith. Eternity will tell if hearts were brought to the Lord when the Gospel was shared in these two very unconventional settings!
