  1. True – “You can’t depart from the faith, if you’re not in the faith.” Eternal security is there for the believer – but it is always conditional. While I have no doubt that backsiders can be restored, persistence in habitual sin needs to be repented of. David repented and said “Cast me not from the presence; and take not thy Holy Spirit from me.” (Psalm 51v11)
“And the Lord said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.” (Exodus 32v31-33) There are also many other references to “blotting out.” Thanks for this… i rarely, if ever, hear anything like this preached nowadays and I feel that most evangelicals (certainly where I live) believe in unconditional eternal security.

    • It’s probably the same here. “Once saved always saved” is a very popular teaching in the U.S. I think that too many listen to to their pastor or favorite Bible teacher and just believe what is being taught without searching the Scriptures. As you say “Eternal security is there for the believer – but it is always conditional”. I agree. Thank you for watching!

  2. What a very good teaching….. He has explained very well that one can fall away from the faith! I like how he said let’s get real here people “You cannot depart from the faith, if your not in the faith”. How simple a truth is that? This man sure can teach and put scripture to it. Thanks for sharing Cathy. Many Blessings.

P.S. I think of you now when I get pictures, and sure enough I checked out a name on one and they were with a place that wasn’t good.

    • Thank you for taking the time to watch the video Julia. I think many Christians don’t believe you can fall away from the faith because they don’t believe in free will. Or another reason could be the thought of falling away is too disturbing. But I believe knowing truth makes a Christian more secure in their faith because first it’s truth, and because then we can beware. The Lord gives gifts to His children, like teaching. All the glory to the Jesus! 🙌

I’m glad you are more aware when choosing photos. A blessing for sure. I usually wouldn’t have said anything but I felt free to do so and it turns out it was the Lord. 🙌
