  1. The praise of man is no praise! We are not to put our confidence in man, but in God. Sad so many flock to the one at the pulpits as though they are they only ones who know the word of God (But are ordained by man), when really it is those who are called by God in the wilderness and there is not a pulpit in sight. Where two or three are gathered together in His name, there is He in the midst of them. Very good post here!!!! Blessings.

    • Yes, it’s something we all need to be aware of in the days we’re living in. It’s so dangerous to put anyone on a pedestal. May the Lord keep us from doing that.

I appreciate your prayers for Chris. I’ve been praying that the Lord would soften his heart. With all his troubles he is still resisting the Lord. It’s heartbreaking because his household is in such turmoil. His wife is going through with a divorce that he absolutely does not want, and his three young children are suffering. The thing is that if the day comes that he has to move out of the house it will be traumatizing for him because of the little ones. Jesus is the answer. I pray the Lord have mercy on him and his family.
