THE UNGODLY ADORATION OF ROME’S COUNTERFEIT CHRIST

    • They’ve burned Christians so it wouldn’t surprise me either if they burned KJV Bibles. It’s interesting that my husband received a comment on this video from a Roman Catholic who said… “Remember your Bible (KJV) wasn’t written by God”. He also said… “God bless the pope for he forgives our sins.” Such darkness. Sometimes I think that I don’t realize how evil Rome really is. We must continue to pray for and share the word with Roman Catholics and leave it in the Lord’s hands.

  1. Cathy, thanks for posting this excellent video exposing Catholicism’s false doctrines of transubstantiation and wafer worship. It saddens me that Catholics interpret Jesus’ words in John 6 and the Last Supper discourses literally to their great detriment. It’s the Holy Spirit Who elucidates these passages so that the reader understands them correctly. I pray the Spirit will use this video to draw lost Catholic souls to Christ.

A word of respectful caution: I did hear Billy speak highly of A.W. Tozer in the video. I know many Christians enjoy the writings of Tozer, but there was also a very dangerous aspect to Tozer’s theology. The man became preoccupied with “mysticism” and began studying medieval Catholic mystics. Tozer is “credited” with initially sparking interest in Catholic mysticism among evangelicals, an interest that is still growing. Evangelical churches now regularly offer courses on Lectio Divina, Ignatian Meditation, and contemplative prayer. By recommending Catholic mystics to his listeners and readers, Tozer was indirectly endorsing the false doctrines embraced by the mystics (including wafer worship) and blazing a trail for future ecumenists like Billy Graham.

Just google “A.W. Tozer Catholic mystics” and you’ll see exactly what I’m referring to.

    • Thank you Tom for that word of caution! I just told Billy. He’s trying to edit that part out of the video. That’s pretty sad/bad re Tozer. What a day we live in! I’m glad you liked the video otherwise. Thank you for taking the time to watch it!

      • Thanks, Cathy. Ecumenism with Rome has so permeated big tent evangelicalism that it’s hard to find an untainted corner. Yes, very sad about Tozer. It’s hard to imagine what goes through the mind of these ecumenical Judases. Rome is very upfront about its works salvation system.

      • Thanks, Cathy. I was confident that you and Billy were unaware of Tozer’s infatuation with Catholic mysticism. I might be mistaken, but I believe I learned about Tozer’s compromise in a sermon from Alistair Begg quite awhile ago. As I recall, Begg credited Tozer’s books for introducing him to “mysticism.” A red flag went up in my head and I googled “Tozer Catholic mystics” and immediately had my answer as you also saw.

        • Very interesting about Alistair Begg. That could be what led Begg to feel free about quoting Catholics in some of his sermons.

If you listen to the video now you can’t even tell it was edited. Mission accomplished.

          • I used to enjoy listening to Begg, but would cringe every time he quoted ecumenist C.S. Lewis and especially Roman Catholic, G.K. Chesterton.

That’s great that Billy was able to edit the video. It’s a sad state of affairs that we must diligently vet evangelical pastors and theologians in regards to ecumenism.
