Watch to the end…
Watch to the end…
The sermon I was listening to this afternoon was good, and it was about something I was thinking on recently. It was good until the pastor started quoting Teresa of Avila, a Roman Catholic nun. So I left a comment, but I wonder if it will be deleted. It’s a very sad day in the organized church. Discernment is sorely lacking. This is what I wrote…
“There’s a fly in the ointment. Why is Pastor Dilena quoting a Roman Catholic nun in a positive way. I was a Roman Catholic for almost 40 years till the Lord saved me out of the cult of Roman Catholicism. Rome does not preach the true gospel. Ecumenism, yoking with Rome and accepting Catholics as Christians, is widespread in the organized church. Roman Catholicism will damn your soul to hell. (The Catholic Charismatics are no exception. They are very Catholic. I used to be a Catholic Charismatic.) Would/should a pastor quote a Mormon or a Jehovah Witness. I think not or I hope not. Why quote a Roman Catholic nun. It gives validity to a false gospel. This is no minor matter. Doesn’t anyone else see this? Brethren beware. Jesus said… ‘take heed that no man deceive you.’ (Matthew 24:4) I speak the truth in love.”
