Many pastors, evangelists and born again believers look upon Charismatic Catholics as brethren in Christ. They think that they are somehow “different” and “less Catholic” than mainstream Catholics. That delusion needs to be shattered. When my husband and I were Charismatic Catholics we became more Catholic, and more deeply entrenched in Rome’s devilish teachings.

It began one day when I became aware that there was a healing Mass at our local Roman Catholic parish. I was curious and very interested, because my son’s asthma would often land him in the hospital. I learned that the healing Mass was said by a priest who travelled from parish to parish, so we began following that priest to the different churches in Queens, Brooklyn and Long Island.

There was great emphasis on the eucharist and transubstantiation at these Masses. There was also great emphasis on Mary and praying the rosary. We heard about a Marian Shrine in upstate New York, so we went there too. We did things that we had never done before, and the things we were familiar with we did with greater devotion. We were drawn deeper into the darkness and idolatry of Roman Catholicism through the Catholic Charismatic Renewal.

We became evangelists for Mary and showed videos in our home of what was being said by the Marian apparition at Medjugorje. Those in our Catholic Charismatic prayer group were very much into the Medjugorje apparitions. My husband wanted to make a shrine to Mary in our finished attic, so he went shopping for a statue. He also wanted to put a big sign on the outside of our house that said “pray the rosary”. I had no objection. Praise God that those two things never happened. And praise the Lord that one day he sent someone to clearly, sweetly and boldly witness to me. That began our journey out of darkness into his marvelous light.

There is something devilishly wrong when pastors push for unity with Catholic Charismatics or any Roman Catholic. Shouldn’t a pastor know the difference between the true Gospel and a counterfeit gospel?Shouldn’t a pastor know the difference between the holy and the profane? Roman Catholics need to hear the true Gospel. Only the true Gospel will save a soul from hell.

1 Peter 2:9-10;But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
