We met some wonderful saints during our time doing nursing home ministry. The following was posted in August of 2007.
Psalm 92:14 They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;
Isaiah 46:4 And even to your old age I am he; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.
Psalm 71:18 Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to every one that is to come.
Thanks Cathy for this beautiful scripture and tribute to those elderly saints.

I’m grateful to have known them, and to know that the Scripture speaks to us in our old age.

Thanks, Cathy! Wonderful to read these testimonies from seasoned saints anticipating their homecoming. So different from David Crosby’s scoffing and false bravado as death approached.

Such a contrast between the lost and saved as they reach the end of their lives. Blessings continue for those who know the Lord while the unsaved are left without remedy.
