Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) a “Christian” ministry that owns a mobile home park in Florida is evicting their tenants. Their sliding scale compensation to residents so far maxes out at a meager $3000. People who have put their life savings into buying a home and renting the land from TBN may lose all of their investment if they can’t move their homes to another location. Most probably they won’t because it’s very expensive to do so. I just happened to come across this information online and find it truly heartbreaking that these people, some who are elderly, will lose their homes. This is especially grievous because TBN proclaims to the world that they are a Christian organization, and also because we are in the middle of a housing crisis which makes relocating very difficult. Ministries and churches are run like businesses. I’ve thought that before, but this information brings things into a new realm. Prayer needed.
