I believe it would be beneficial for us as born again Christians to read the stories of those who’ve gone before us, those who suffered tremendously for their faith because they refused to compromise with Rome. They lost their goods and lost their lives standing for the truth of the Gospel. Things are very different today, with ecumenism rampant within the organized institutional church.
Jesus didn’t exalt the Jews, he wept over them, and he foretold the destruction of Jerusalem because the Jews rejected him, their Messiah. When was the last time you heard a sermon about the destruction of Jerusalem? If we really want to bless Israel, let us preach the gospel to them, the same way we would preach it to anyone else. ❤️
