“It’s not just a fluke or an aberration that the evangelical churches and the Catholic Church are coming into alignment with each other.”…

SIGNS OF THE TIMES – Woe Be Unto The Pastors

Beware of false prophets and grievous wolves.

Take heed that no man deceive you.

Jeremiah 23:1  Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD.

Ezekiel 13:22  Because with lies ye have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by promising him life:

Matthew 24:4  And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

Acts 20:25-38  25And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more. 26Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men. 27For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God. 28Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. 29For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. 30Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them. 31Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears. 32And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified. 33I have coveted no man’s silver, or gold, or apparel. 34Yea, ye yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me. 35I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

36And when he had thus spoken, he kneeled down, and prayed with them all. 37And they all wept sore, and fell on Paul’s neck, and kissed him, 38Sorrowing most of all for the words which he spake, that they should see his face no more. And they accompanied him unto the ship.

A very meaningful quote by Martin Luther.

Psalm 119:158 I beheld the transgressors, and was grieved; because they kept not thy word.

Martin Luther:

Grieved, because they kept not thy law. “I never thought the world had been so wicked, when the Gospel began, as now I see it is; …

I rather hoped that every one would have leaped for joy to have found himself freed from the filth of the Pope, from his lamentable molestations of poor troubled consciences, and that through Christ they would by faith obtain the celestial treasure they sought after before with such vast cost and labour, though in vain. …

And especially I thought the bishops and universities would with joy of heart have received the true doctrines; but I have been lamentably deceived. Moses and Jeremiah, too, complained they had been deceived.”

What should we say when in our day we see so many famous “Preachers” extend the right hand of fellowship to the Pope?  We should say deceived.

I had a dream last night.

In the dream I was witnessing to someone about the error of thinking that a person is saved, born again, when they are baptized as an infant.

I told the person in my dream, that as the baby grew into a teen, they would be taught that they were saved, born again, when they were baptized as an infant.

Then I told them that as the person continued to age and became an adult in their 30’s, they would continue to believe that they were right with God because they were baptized as an infant.

I concluded by saying that if that person died in a fiery crash at that age, still believing the lie that they were born again because they were infant baptized, they would go to hell, because they were never truly born again.

(Jesus talks with Nicodemus about being born again.  Read about it here.)

The person I was witnessing to did not believe what I was saying.  They  told me not to talk about that.

People are being taught the false doctrine of baptismal regeneration. Baptismal regeneration means that a person is born again by the actual act of being baptized.

Not true.

Sacraments, as they are called, do not save anyone.

Think of the consequences of someone thinking they’re right with God when they’re not.

Think of the consequences of deception.

Baptismal regeneration is only one of many soul damning doctrines of the Roman Catholic Church.

The bottom line is that Rome preaches “another gospel” which is really no gospel all.

Evangelism, not unity.  That is true love.

Here I Stand

“Unless I am convicted by scripture and plain reason–I do not accept the authority of popes and councils for they have contradicted each other–my conscience is captive to the Word of God. I cannot and I will not recant anything, for to go against conscience is neither right nor safe. Here I stand, I cannot do otherwise, God help me. Amen.
Martin Luther, April 18, 1521”

Pass The Baton

Definition: To give responsibility for something important to another person.
Usage notes: If someone running in a race passes the baton, they give a stick to the next person to run.

Memorial Museums

It is important to remember, and pass on information to the next generation, so that the evils of the past are not repeated. We find an example of this “remembering” in the museums that have been established such as the Holocaust Memorial Museum and the International Civil Rights Center & Museum. That’s a very good thing.

Remember The Reformation

We as Christians have not remembered. We have not taken the stick, and we are not running.

We have forgotten the Reformation. Roman Catholicism preaches another gospel. Martin Luther knew that, but the modern day church leaders have forgotten, and they have influenced a multitude of other Christians. Today, so called Protestant ministers send people to the Catholic church for discipleship at their crusades and, believe it or not, other so called Protestant ministers actually sell rosaries. We are even asked to fast and pray so that Rome chooses the right man to be the new Pope!

Few are protesting anymore and the really sad part is that they are having an unbelievable influence on the Body of Christ. That is a great blow to the evangelizing of Roman Catholics.

On April 18, 1521 Martin Luther said …

“Unless I am convicted by scripture and plain reason–I do not accept the authority of popes and councils for they have contradicted each other–my conscience is captive to the Word of God. I cannot and I will not recant anything, for to go against conscience is neither right nor safe. Here I stand, I cannot do otherwise, God help me. Amen.”

Will you say the same today?
