Blessings on this beautiful Sunday, the Lord’s Day! 🙌🏻

MY MOM’S SALVATION TESTIMONY 🙌🏻 ❤️

My Mom, Jennie (1917 – 2007)

We would sing this song with our grandkids during the summers that we did VBS. 🙌🏻

HIDDEN TREASURES

We met some wonderful saints during our time doing nursing home ministry. The following was posted in August of 2007.

HIDDEN TREASURES

Psalm 92:14 They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;

Isaiah 46:4 And even to your old age I am he; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.

Psalm 71:18 Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to every one that is to come.

THE FLOWER FADETH

The flower (orchid) you see in the photo just bloomed. The drooping flower in the back was the first of the season and is now about to drop off. And then there’s the bud that hasn’t bloomed yet. Every time I look at these flowers I think about how beautifully they portray our fragile and temporary lives on this earth. One generation passes away and another comes into the world. What a picture of life! It makes me think about my parents whose lives on this earth are over. And my grandchildren who are at the beginning of their life’s journey, and their children yet to be born. And me, in the latter years of my life, still here but ready to drop off when my Lord calls me home. 🙌

Isaiah 40:8 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.
