Thanks for sharing the link to this wonderful story Cathy. Sincere souls like these who were greatly used of the Lord are few and far between these days!
It was a blessing to have found Montano’s testimony. His books are out of print, but we were able to find used copies of “Behind the Purple Curtain” and “The Monk Who Lived Again” at a reasonable price. Yes, sincere souls like Montano are a rarity. So sad.
I read “Behind the Purple Curtain” several years ago, a revealing look at how the RCC systematically suppressed the Gospel throughout South America in league with the political leaders. I was also blessed by reading “The Monk Who Lived Again,” a 1954 biography of Montano by B.H. Pearson.
We only recently became aware of Montaño. Wonderful testimony! I understand his ministry was well known. It’s very sad that few today know his testimony or the fruitful ministry that he had. We ordered both of those books.
Montano’s testimony and ministry are surely not appreciated in today’s ecumenical evangelicalism.
I’m glad you were able to order the out-of-print books!
